Win a DJ set at Aeon Festival 2012

We are running a DJ competition so 1 or 2 lucky people can win a set at this years festival, and possibly some regular sets at JamTheChannel in the future.
We are looking for something special, something fresh & something with taste 
What you need to do is send us two 60 minute mixes from a soundcloud or mixcloud account to themagnetjtc@gmail.com, one for an early doors warm up set and one peak time so we know you can cut it on any occasion.
You have up until the end of April to submit your mixes to us, we will then spend some time going over them and select our favourites.
Once we have selected the chosen mixes, we will organise some slots at the beginning of our partys in the summer making sure you can cut it live & then hold a final in August to decide the winners.
Please think out of the box and remember we do not take cash bribes

What styles? any main focus? cheers
I’ve played in a few cafes, lounges, bars and a couple of clubs now. Play dub reggae, hip hop, deep house, minimal and basss. Quite diverse but stick to one thing at a time. All live mixes have gone down well especially the dub tunes. Cheers.

focus on fresh, interesting, quality tunes no genre boundaries particularly however check previous bookings to get an idea of where we’re at – no donk or hardhouse
